Christian Run Coach and FamilyI am Elizabeth, the Christian Run Coach, and Writer behind Endurance4You!

God collided my passion for Faith + Running + Family + Writing, which turned into Endurance4You. God gave me this vision!

Russell is my better half, he is crazy just like me! We got married in 2012 when my handsome son was 4 years old. We have a sweet daughter who is showing us her spunky God-given personality by constantly keeping us on our toes. Often you can catch us around the table playing games, outside together, or having a family dinner movie night! Which is also code for we’re eating in our living room and watching a movie together!

In 2013, I was bit by the running bug and there was no turning back. After completing my first never-ending 5k, I was ready to sign up for the next race.Christian Run Coach

In 2019 I ran my first marathon, the Austin Marathon, and finished at 3:47:47. I quickly learned running could become an idol.

The following year, in 2020, I ran one of the few races that happened before the COVID-19 Pandemic, which was the Chevron Houston Marathon and I had a finish time of 3:35:41.

I was knocking on the Boston Marathon’s door with getting closer and closer to achieving my goal of qualifying and finally hit it in 2022 at the Chevron Houston Marathon with a finish time of 3:33:12.

In 2023, I caught my unicorn and became a Boston Marathoner. In 2024, I caught my second Boston Qualifying time of 3:23:43!

Run Coaching:

When I trained for my first marathon, I learned firsthand how running can become an idol. When I received my  Level I RRCA Running Coach Certification in 2019, I thought it was only to gain knowledge for myself. Little did I know, God was working on my heart to want to help athletes not fall into the same trap as I did and allow running to become an idol.

Toward the end of 2019, I started volunteer run coaching and officially launched Endurance4You Run Coaching Services in March 2020, during the COVID-19 Pandemic. My best friend was an ER nurse and asked me if I would coach her for a quarter marathon. You can read more about her, here.

From there, I realized I had a passion for sharing Jesus through run coaching while helping others achieve their goals. I continued my education with running and completed my Level II RRCA Certification in April 2023.
